Job Title: Network Architect

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues.
  • Install, configure, and support network equipment, such as firewalls, switches, and Wi-Fi access points.
  • Plan and perform network maintenance and system upgrades.
  • Respond to network incidents and service outages.
  • Develop project plans to improve network performance, stability, and security.
  • Collaborate with team members and business stakeholders to identify and address network concerns.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Stay up to date with networking and security best practices.
  • Manage and configure Fortinet and Aruba equipment.
  • Work with Azure Cloud networking, including vWAN, Hub, Firewall, NSG, and vNets.
  • Provide technical support to users experiencing connectivity issues.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior network engineers.
  • Understand and assess both technical and non-technical risks when making changes or developing new solutions to ensure robust and secure implementations.
  • Monitor network performance and stability to ensure network availability.
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
  • Experience with implementation and development of Forti Analyzer and Forti Manager.
Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of IT experience with a focus on networking and network architecture.
  • Familiarity with Fortinet Firewalls and Azure Cloud networking.
  • Demonstrate strong listening skills to fully understand and address users’ needs and concerns effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Patience and ability to thrive when working under pressure in the event of an outage.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
