Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automated Test Lead to plan, develop, implement, and execute automated testing strategies for a combined MES‑PLM‑ERP deployment. This role ensures the quality, performance, and reliability of enterprise applications and integrations, and leads the creation and maintenance of automated test frameworks, scripts, and CI/CD integration.

Essential Functions
  • Develop automated test plans and strategies that align with project goals.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using industry‑standard tools, ensuring reusable, modular, and maintainable test cases.
  • Configure automated test environments and manage the entire test execution lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Track test progress, report execution results, and identify bottlenecks; participate in defect triage and root‑cause analysis.
  • Document testing strategies, key decisions, and integration points with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Regularly review and update automated test scripts for accuracy and maintainability; validate application functionality through rule‑based testing approaches.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators for automated testing performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and guide junior test engineers and automation developers; establish best practices and standards.
  • Ensure testing practices comply with industry standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support user acceptance testing and regression testing efforts.
  • Hands‑on experience with automated testing software (test case design, step creation, data management).
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies (Agile, Dev Ops, Shift‑left).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration tools and version control systems (Jenkins, Git).
  • Proficient with Tricentis Tosca or equivalent.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of relevant experience;
    Graduate Degree with minimum 7 years; or in lieu of a degree, minimum 13 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Additional Skills
  • Automated testing certification (ISTQB or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, QTP, JUnit, TestNG, Microsoft Playwright, and JMeter.
  • Experience with enterprise applications testing (ERP, MES, PLM) and exposure to performance and API testing.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) and test automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Experience with Tricentis Tosca or similar testing tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Current or ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Salary and Benefits

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $99,500‑$184,500 for California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C., Denver, or NYC areas; $114,000‑$212,000 for Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont. L3
