Screener; Mental Health

Legacy Behavioral Health Center, Inc. is a community mental health center that has been serving residents of Martin, Okeechobee, St. Lucie, Indian River and Brevard Counties since 2005. We are committed to improving the quality of life and level of performance of emotionally and behaviorally challenged infants, children, adolescents, families and adults through an array of evidence based and diverse services.

We are currently seeking Screener Intake / Mental Health Counselors!

Independent contractor position with flexible schedule. 15+ or 25+ hours a week.

• St. Lucie County; office in person.
• Master's Degree in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work or related fields;
• Licensed (LMHC, LCSW);
• Experience in working with children and families;
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

• Conduct mental health assessments.
• Gather and document relevant health information from individuals in a clear and organized manner.

• A background in healthcare, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience or training in art therapy is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations are essential.
• Previous experience in a clinical or community health setting is advantageous.
