• Assisting the Physical Therapist in the implementation of treatment intervention.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients’ strength, mobility and function.
• Providing training to individuals and other staff involved in their rehabilitation, and documenting results of the training.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records.
• Supporting individuals’ plan of treatment by documenting and reporting status changes to the multi‑disciplinary team members as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant training program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant certification in state of practice.
• Current Live CPR Certification.
• Two‑step TB skin test required.
• Proof of Auto Insurance.
• Knowledge of evidence‑based therapy interventions.
• Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics and/or home health.
• One year preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and transfer patients up to 100 pounds following safety procedures.
• Fine motor skills, visual acuity, walking/standing for extended periods.
• Additional physical requirements: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently.
• Health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter.
