Join Advent Health as a Certified Medical Assistant. The role involves ensuring efficient office flow by preparing patients and equipment for treatment, initiating testing, documenting results in the practice’s designated system, and providing whole care to patients during office visits, including intake, test results, screenings, labs, medication administration, and closure of care gaps.
Responsibilities- Maintain education requirements and demonstrate competency through annual clinical competencies and written tests.
- Ensure office compliance with OSHA enforcement and other safety processes.
- Assist patients, visitors, and co‑workers when necessary to support staff teamwork.
- Perform clinical intake according to policy and procedures, including screenings, history taking, vital signs, and medication reconciliation.
- Assist with minor procedures associated with specialty and ensure accurate documentation at the time of service or results.
- Educate patients regarding tests, medications, and diet, providing clear and accurate instructions.
- Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring adequate supplies and functioning medical equipment.
- High School Graduate or equivalent (Required).
- Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS).
- Clinical certifications such as Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Certifications issued by EV Accredited or National bodies.

Full Time – Monday to Friday, Day Shift.
Location2902 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32804 – Vacancies will be within Orange, Seminole, Osceola, and Lake counties only.
Pay Range$16.51 - $26.42 per hour.
