POSITION SUMMARY
The System Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Compliance provides leadership the strategic direction, implementation and oversight of quality improvement and regulatory compliance across the Health First Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care. The System Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Compliance is responsible for leading a comprehensive quality program encompassing all divisions across Health First achieving organization goals of clinical excellence.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The System Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Compliance provides leadership the strategic direction, implementation and oversight of quality improvement and regulatory compliance across the Health First Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care. The System Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Compliance is responsible for leading a comprehensive quality program encompassing all divisions across Health First achieving organization goals of clinical excellence.
- Develops and executes system wide quality, infection prevention and regulatory compliance strategies across the system.
- Aligns initiatives with the mission, vision and regulatory requirements of the organization.
- Oversees performance improvement programs and clinical quality metrics across the organization, promoting a culture of safety and zero harm.
- Ensures compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and other accrediting bodies.
- Directly oversees the submission, monitoring, and strategic planning for national publicly reported ratings to ensure accurate representation of performance (CMS 5-Star, Leapfrog, National clinical registries, etc.).
- Leads preparation for regulatory readiness, including audits and surveys.
- Collaborates with division leadership to implement strategic initiatives to meet organizational goals.
- Partners with clinical leaders, medical staff leadership, physicians and front-line staff, to design and implement training on quality improvement and patient safety best practices.
- Works with the Chief Quality Officer (CQO), Chief Nurse Executive (CNE) and Vice President Patient Safety and Clinical Risk Management to align the work of all quality areas across the organization to achieve results.
- Advises and collaborates physician leaders such as campus Chief Medical Officer’s (CMO’s), Medical Directors, elected medical staff and program directors to achieve organizational goals.
- Holds direct and matrix leaders accountable for the execution to achieve clinical excellence and organizational goals.
- Supports and partners with clinical risk management, patient safety and emergency preparedness safety to achieve organizational goals for the delivery of safe, effective care.
- Define and communicate a clear, compelling vision for the team that effectively ties into the mission and vision of Health First and inspire the team to achieve that vision.
- Provide leadership, motivation, coaching, feedback and support to foster and strengthen growth and development of an effective, high performing team.
- Lead change through effective communication, explaining the connection and value to the organization, creating stronger buy-in and urgency, while understanding impact to the team to obtain commitment.
- Demonstrate openness to hearing diverse ideas and thoughts; create a sense of inclusivity; and encourage collaboration across teams to help break down silos to meet the team’s and organization’s goals.

- Display strong strategic and financial acumen in areas of responsibility in alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Nursing (MSN), Public Health (MPH), or a relevant field. - Work Experience:
