STS Aviation Services is hiring experienced Avionics Technicians in Melbourne, Florida. These positions focus on heavy modification work on commercial and large regional aircraft.
If you have a strong background in aircraft modifications and avionics systems installations, this is your opportunity to work on high-profile projects in a fast-paced MRO environment.
Position OverviewThis role requires specialized experience performing aircraft modifications, including but not limited to:
- WiFi modifications and installations
- Winglet modifications
- Aircraft interior modifications
- Avionics systems modifications and installations
Work will be performed on A220, A320, 737, and ERJ-175 aircraft.
Required Experience & Qualifications- Minimum of 3 years of experience on commercial or large regional aircraft
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license strongly preferred but not required
- Must possess a complete set of basic hand tools required to perform job duties
- Must successfully pass a written and hands-on assessment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Valid and current driver’s license required
- Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge
- Ability to work any shift or schedule as required
These positions offer highly competitive pay structured as a piece rate per aircraft. Compensation will vary based on the type of installation or modification performed.
