Position: Network Planning Engineer with Security Clearance
A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Network Planning Engineer. Position Type:
Full Time Contract, Temp to Perm
Duration: 06-12 Months

Location:

Melbourne, FL As a Network Planning Engineer, you will:

• Contribute to the Security Systems Engineering efforts on IRADs responsible for developing network security architecture, selecting new products, and conducting research on advanced security related topics.

• Develop, maintain, and publish network security technical documentation and white papers in accordance with Systems Engineering processes. Preferred Additional

Skills:

• Experience adhering to deadlines and complete tasks on-schedule.

• Work well in a diverse team environment and with customers.

• Knowledge of scripting using shell, PHP, bash, and/or similar scripting languages.

• Experience with Agile software development and the systems engineering lifecycle.

• Knowledge of Web Services APIs, Perl/Python scripting, Bash, Ansible.

• Certifications - Cisco CCNA; VMware VCA;
Red Hat RHCSA;
Windows MCSA.

• Microsoft Office Suite. The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; or 4 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Experience in two or more of the following domains:

• Network monitoring protocols/methods such as SNMP, Net Flow, and Syslog.

• Implementation/Administration of one or more Network Management Systems (Splunk, CA/Broadcom Product Suite, BMC Remedy, IPAM, Infoblox, own Cloud).

• Networking principles and systems functionality, with the ability to troubleshoot OSI layers 1-7 throughout a COTS environment.

Pay Range*: $48-$50 per hour.
