School Psychologist

Brevard Public Schools is seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified School Psychologist to provide psychological testing and evaluation of students. To provide resources to Pre‑K, Elementary, and Secondary schools. Travel between schools is required.

This is a full time, 11 month position with benefits.

• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to gain a working knowledge of Exceptional Education Programs.
• Ability to work effectively with others.

• A doctorate degree with a specialization in school psychology which includes a twelve-hundred (1200-hour), supervised internship with at least six-hundred (600) hours completed in an elementary or secondary school setting

OR

• A specialist-level program from a National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) or American Psychological Association (APA) accredited

OR

• A valid credential as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist issued by the National Association of of School Psychologists (NASP)
• Valid Florida Driver’s License is required

• Two (2) years of public‑school experience desired

• Certified as a School Psychologist by the State of Florida

OR

• A valid credential as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist issued by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)
