Overlake Golf & Country Club (OGCC) was established in 1927 in Medina, Washington. It is a family country club with modern values, offering dining, social activities, golf, tennis and aquatics for members, family, friends and business associates. Position DescriptionOverlake Athletics Camp is a weekly camp program that runs for 9 weeks starting in mid-June and ending in late August. Each session features a themed week of activities, crafts, games, group swim and racquet sports lessons, and an off-site field trip to attractions around the Puget Sound area.
Camp Counselors are responsible for the execution of the summer program, including crafts and games, swim and racquet lessons assistance, and supervision of campers age 3-10 during day-to-day camp operations.

Requirements ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES- Supervise small to large groups of children ages 3-10 years old.
- Plan and execute appropriate outdoor activities such as swimming, tennis, pickleball, and other sports.
- Participate in themed weeks and activities with campers.
- Use proper department and team workflows and procedures.
- Report any incidents immediately to the supervisor and follow all emergency procedures.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Must give availability for at least 4 camp weeks between June 15 – August 21.
- Must be able to work a total of 100 hours between April 1 and October 1 across all positions.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to acquire before starting camp.
- Familiarity or experience with private club culture, practices, and environment.
- Experience working with children, especially in a camp or athletic environment.
- Enthusiasm for working with youth, patience, and reliability.
- Ability to problem solve on the spot and take ownership for problem resolution.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy in all dealings.
- Excellent customer service skills.
