Set In Stone Contracting LLC is looking for a skilled Concrete Raker / Laborer to join our field operations team. This hands-on role is vital to the success of every project—placing and preparing concrete surfaces with precision and care. If you have an eye for grade, the physical stamina for tough, rewarding work, and a passion for getting the job done right, we want to hear from you.

Finishing experience is a plus, but if you’re strong with placement and eager to learn, we’ll teach the rest.

• Place concrete efficiently during pours using rakes and hand tools.
• Maintain consistent grade and elevation throughout the pour.
• Assist with site preparation, layout, and cleanup before and after concrete placement.
• Work as part of a crew to meet daily production and quality goals.
• Support finishing team as needed—basic finishing skills are a plus.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed on site.
• Communicate with team leads and other crew members to coordinate placement work.

• Minimum 3 years of concrete placement or raking experience.
• Strong understanding of grade and slope during pours.
• Physical ability to perform strenuous labor for 8–10 hours per day.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Finishing experience is a bonus, but not required—we’ll train the right person.
• No formal education required.

Projects are primarily based in the regional area—no travel required outside the local zone.
