The Medina County Board of Commissioners seeks a part-time Deputy Dog Warden for the Dog Shelter located on Deerview Lane.
Responsibilities:Enforces statutes for the regulation of licensing, ownership, and animal control. Maintain records and provide reports. Provide care to dogs following shelter guidelines.
Qualifications:Prior experience in dog care and handling preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Able to lift at least fifty pounds.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo and pass a background check and drug screen.
Job Type:Part-time
Pay:$16.00 per hour
Hours:Minimum 20 hours per week. Additional hours include some weekends, some holidays, and covering vacations.
