Stepdown Registered Nurse | Medina, Ohio

A healthcare opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in post-procedure care, Med/Tele patients, with expertise in Stepdown, Pre Op, and PACU nursing skills. This contract position is based in Medina, OH, offering two 12-hour shift options: days from 7am-7pm and nights from 7pm-7am. The role includes a holiday and weekend rotation but does not guarantee hours, with overtime paid at the regular all-inclusive rate and no on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to post-procedural and medical/telemetry patients
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and optimal recovery
• Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and responses to treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care plans and status

Mandatory Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Ohio
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for healthcare providers from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or professional nursing certification recognized by the Magnet Association
