Now hiring Batch Makers for a manufacturing company in Medina for 1st shift, 5am – 1:30pm.
Weekly pay at $18.75 per hour.
The Batch Maker is responsible for weighing materials and determining the correct amounts to pour into a mixture to produce required solutions.
Job Duties:- Handles batch making responsibilities in all departments.
- Trained to make all formulations i.e. Roof coating, Latex, and Solvent departments.
- Responsible for housekeeping in the work area.
- Reports raw material/equipment needs to Production Manager.
- Helps maintain inventory levels/cycle counts.
- Fills batches according to need i.e. 1’s, 5’s, 55’s or totes (domestic or export).
- Operates tow motor.
- Shop floor reporting.
- Submit a batch sample to QC lab for approval and retain before filling.
Other duties include assisting other operators, performing housekeeping of workstations, and any other task requested by a supervisor.
This position involves lifting, standing, and moving for the entirety of the shift.
The ideal candidate has great dexterity, an attention to detail, and is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience operating a forklift is preferred, but not required.
