Industrial Maintenance Technician; 2nd Shift

This individual will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance required to maintain our industrial equipment and facility at an optimal level of operation, with an emphasis on mechanical power transmission, electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Maintenance experience with industrial controls, 480-volt 3 phase electrical feeders, machining, robotics, and CNC is a plus. The individual will work on mechanical and hydraulic presses, furnaces, grinders, steel preparation and coating equipment, gear shapers, robotics, CNC machining centers, laser cutters, dust and fume collection equipment, and HVAC systems.

Position starts at $28.00/hour (based on experience).

• Ensure safety standards are maintained during duties.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Diagnose, repair, or replace worn parts in machinery.
• Maintain proper fluid levels, replace filters, and change oils and greases.
• Work with external technicians/sub-contractors during external PMs.
• Record work activities, update procedures, and submit reports.
• Work independently or as part of a team to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Identify root causes of failures and suggest preventive actions.
• Work with engineering to upgrade equipment for safety and reliability.
• Order parts and materials, estimate job times, and interface with CMMS for work orders.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends, and travel occasionally for training.

• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing with knowledge of mechanical power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, fabricating, pipe fitting, and construction trades.
• Strong communication, analytical, and multi-tasking skills.
