Set In Stone Contracting LLC is seeking a driven and experienced Superintendent / Project Manager to oversee and lead commercial, industrial, and municipal concrete and paving projects. This dual-role position blends on-site leadership with off-season planning and team development. Ideal for candidates who know concrete work from the ground up and can expertly manage project schedules, communication, and field operations, this is your chance to step into a high-impact leadership role within a respected union contractor.

On-Site Oversight:
Serve as the primary company representative on job sites, managing daily operations to ensure alignment with project plans and specifications.
Logistics Management:
Coordinate the delivery and placement of materials and equipment, and direct workforce flow to maximize productivity.
Schedule Management:
Break down project timelines into actionable daily/weekly tasks; track progress and adapt schedules to avoid delays.
Safety Compliance:
Conduct daily site inspections, enforce OSHA-compliant safety protocols, and resolve hazardous conditions promptly.
Quality Control:
Ensure workmanship meets contract requirements and conduct regular inspections to maintain high-quality standards.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the critical communication link between city engineers, mayors, inspectors, and internal project managers—clear, proactive communication is a MUST.
Winter Season Planning:
Participate in off-season project planning, bid preparation, and hiring efforts.
Minimum of 10 years of construction experience, with hands-on knowledge of concrete roadwork and parking lot construction.
High school diploma or GED required; additional training or education in construction management is a plus.
Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage subcontractors, city officials, and clients professionally.
Deep understanding of scheduling, safety practices, and municipal construction standards (ODOT spec experience is a strong plus).
Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for job tracking, communication, and reporting.
