Reports To: Director, Construction

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the daily operations of multiple commercial construction projects, ensuring they are executed from inception to completion in alignment with defined project scope, schedules, and budgetary objectives. This role involves establishing and fostering effective working relationships with customers, providing leadership to project teams, and delivering high-quality outcomes that meet organizational and client expectations.

• Project Oversight: Manage 3–5 concurrent commercial construction projects ranging in value from $30,000 to over $2M, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and financial targets.
• Subcontractor and Vendor Management: Review proposals from the Pre-Construction Team, negotiate and award contracts, and oversee vendor performance to ensure scope and quality expectations are met.
• Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage project schedules using MS Project software, coordinate with Project Coordinators and Site Supervisors, and monitor daily progress to achieve timely and successful project completion.
• Client Communication: Maintain close communication with customers through regular updates, progress reports, and meetings, ensuring satisfaction and cultivating ongoing business opportunities.
• Documentation and Close-Out: Utilize proprietary software for project documentation, oversee the change order process, review invoices, and ensure all close-out documentation is completed and submitted.

• Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred but not required with sufficient experience.

  Minimum of 5 years of experience within a commercial construction organization, with a strong understanding of industry practices and standards.
• Blueprint Proficiency: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and complete accurate material takeoffs.
• General Trades Expertise: Extensive knowledge of construction general trades and their application in commercial projects.
• Results-Oriented: Demonstrated success in achieving project goals and delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
