AP Associate-Medina
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8AM – 5PM On-Site
Summary ofJob Duties
- Support the Accounts Payable team on ensuring all expense and inventory invoices received for payment are processed accurately and payments to creditors are accurately performed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Sort paperwork and emails that are received in the general department mail and inbox.
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of expense and inventory invoices and credits according to the company’s policies and procedures including 3-way matching.
- Receive and processes internal check requests.
- Utilize the digital file software to support a paperless department workflow.
- Process direct ship invoices and bill out corresponding customer tickets.
- Review monthly vendor statements and reconcile discrepancies.
- Work collaboratively with peers to issue payments to vendors via check and ACH.
- Maintain accurate and complete files for assigned vendors.
- Investigate and resolve invoicing and payment inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner that are sent via phone, email, or verbal request.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to solve AP issues that arise.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent or at least 2-3 years’ experience in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field.
- Strong personal computer and business solution software skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Good written and verbal communication skills for communicating with support personnel and management
- Proven analytical skill and high attention to detail
- Positive mindset of continuous improvement
- Self-motivated to execute tasks in a timely manner, team player
- Experience organizing and prioritizing workload
- Resourcefulness to solve problems
