Maintenance Director (Seasonal)

Kedleston Gospel Camp is looking for a Maintenance Director to help care for our facilities, grounds, and systems during the camp season. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and being part of a team that supports meaningful Christian Camping ministry.

• Maintain camp buildings, cabins, and grounds
• Handle day‑to‑day repairs (plumbing, doors, painting, general upkeep)
• Operate and monitor camp water and septic systems (training provided)
• Supervise and mentor custodial and grounds staff and set daily work routines
• Help prepare camp for summer start‑up and ongoing operations
• Work closely with the Executive Director and Maintenance Committee to receive guidance for larger projects

• Someone practical, reliable, and willing to learn
• Comfortable taking direction and working within established systems
• Able to supervise others and keep tasks organized
• Experience working in camping ministry, schools, churches, or similar facilities is an asset
• Previous experience in maintenance, groundskeeping, or a related field is a strong asset
• Basic mechanical, plumbing, or other trades knowledge is a strong asset
• Valid driver’s license required
• Alignment with the mission and values of Kedleston Gospel Camp and a mature Christian Faith
