Job: 8631 - Extra Help Store/Cafe at Joseph H. Stewart Resort (Roads & Parks)

- Must pass a criminal background check prior to hire.
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance in their selection of boating supplies, snacks, beverages, and other store items.
- Operate the Point of Sale System / Cash Register accurately and efficiently.
- Use basic math skills and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Count cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, reconcile sales, and generate daily sales reports for management.
- Sell Day Use Permits, Season Passes, ice, firewood, and all other store/marina items.
- Assist with operations and maintenance of the store/café building.
- Monitor and maintain the store’s inventory levels, restock shelves, and notify the Store Manager when products need to be replenished.
- Keep the store area clean, organized, and presentable at all times, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed and aisles are accessible.
- Prep food for service and monitor perishables for freshness and quality.
- Cook menu items to required standards and ensure that food comes out with high quality, timely fashion.
- Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
- Able to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours during peak boating season.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy items as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Full hookup site may be available if employee would like to reside on-site. Must provide own RV.
A combination of education and experience equivalent to the completion of twelfth grade.
