Additional Position Details:
Union Position FTE: 0.000001 | On Call | Variable Hours/Variable Days

Salary Range: $53.99 - $77.79

Shift Differentials:

  • $2.50 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
  • $10.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
  • $2.50 extra for working weekends

Who We Are

The Extended Floor Recovery (EFR) unit is dedicated to delivering safe, competent care and education to post-procedural patients who do not meet Short Stay Unit criteria but are eligible for same-day discharge. Our mission is to ensure a smooth transition through Phase II recovery using a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach that prioritizes patient safety and comfort.

We are a 12-bed unit
, open for patient care Monday at 0645 through Friday at 1915
. Our nursing staff work 12-hour shifts
, enjoying weekends and holidays off, which supports a healthy work-life balance.

Position Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience

  • 1 year of caring for post‑operative patients within the last 3 years in an Acute care setting is required - OR -
  • 2 years within the last 3 years at a Surgery Center in Post op phase of care is required

License/

Certifications:

  • RN:
    Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
  • BLS:
    Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
  • ACLS:
    Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required within 4 months of start date
  • CAPA:
    Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse, preferred.
