Position Summary

The Patient Care Services Supervisor (IMCU) at ARRMC provides oversight and coordination for a designated clinical program and related patient care areas. Their primary focus is supervising daily patient care and ensuring that the care meets quality standards in a cost-effective manner. In addition, they provide performance improvement, statistical data collection, patient and community education, and management of organizational change for the program and related patient care areas.

They also collaborate with their direct supervisor on related goal setting and planning, provide consistent and timely information and feedback to the direct supervisor, including input regarding financial and/or quality performance, and manage human resource issues.

Position Qualifications

Experience

  • 2 years progressive nursing experience preferably related to area of specialty is required

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Bachelors degree in related field; required

Certification/Licensure

  • Registered Nurse (RN) by the Oregon State Board of Nursing is required upon start
  • BLS:
    Basic Life Support is required upon start
  • ACLS:
    Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified from American Heart Association is required within 6 months of hire
