Job Opportunity – RN Case Manager – Oregon
Start Date: February 16, 2026
Location: Southern Oregon
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 8-hour shifts preferred (10-hour shifts may be considered); weekend coverage varies based on staffing needs; orientation: 40 hours
Highlights:
- Work in a 108-bed short-term acute care hospital with a daily census of 95-110 patients
- Float across multiple acute care units including ICU, Medical/Telemetry, Med-Surg, Observation, and ED
- Epic charting system experience required
- Manageable patient ratios: 1:15 weekdays, lighter weekend assignment focused on discharges and new assessments only
- Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services
- Case Management Assistants available to support tasks such as SNF authorization, transport coordination, DME dispensing, and placement referrals
Requirements:
- Active or pending RN license in Oregon
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Epic charting system experience required
- BLS certification
- Knowledge of care coordination, discharge planning, admission criteria, medical necessity, appeals and denials, continued stay reviews, and DRG classifications
- Familiarity with CMS, HIPAA, OSHA, and The Joint Commission standards
- Must have reliable vehicle for this assignment
- 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
