Addictions Recovery Center, Inc (ARC) in Medford, Oregon is a behavioral health agency providing a trauma-informed, comprehensive continuum of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorder treatment services in Southern Oregon. We are seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to join the team at Fresh Start Withdrawal Management to ensure delivery of comprehensive, trauma-informed, and life‑saving medical care to vulnerable patients who are in the early stages of recovery from their substance use disorder.
ARC’s Family Nurse Practitioners oversee, provide, and support the delivery of patient‑centered medical services to those enrolled in our withdrawal management program. They work closely and in collaboration with the appropriate members of the ARC team to ensure cohesive, integrated, and high‑quality service delivery. Our Family Nurse Practitioners provide crucial medical expertise to the medical and clinical teams that wraparound and support our patients, and maintain vital connections with all appropriate community partners to ensure timely, responsive communications related to patient care.
Activities and duties include but are not limited to:
- Ability to perform pre‑admission medical screening, nursing assessments, and collect other pertinent medical data, as required
- Provide oversight of patients who present pre‑admission, at admission, during treatment, or post admission with prescribed medication assisted treatment medications
- Maintain communication chains with all key collaborators and other staff, as needed
- Ensure any final recommendation, admission, care, or treatment is conducted in accordance with orders
- Ensure compliance with appropriate policies/procedures/protocols for client medical care
- Ability to gather and assess patient/client information to evaluate needs
- Ensure new orders and provider instructions are appropriately recorded in client record
- Work with patients with a trauma‑informed and compassionate approach

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & SKILLS- Medical Practitioner a plus
- Experience in addictions treatment or similar settings highly preferred
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to manage all tasks and responsibilities in a highly dynamic environment
- Demonstrate computer literacy and typing proficiency sufficient to operate a computer software including Microsoft office programs and EHR systems
Compensation and benefits include:
- Most ARC employees are scheduled four‑days a week to support their ability to maintain a healthy work and life balance; medical and sobering positions are scheduled to work three days a week
- Starting salary ranging from $ to $ annually, depending on credentials, skills, and experience
- Three (3) to six (6) weeks of Vacation accrued per year, based upon years of service
- Sick time is accrued for all employees based on regularly scheduled hours
