Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR.
Full-Time/Day Shift - Monday - Friday from 8am-4:30pm including variable call
$6,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.
Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic (site specific) purposes under the direction of a physician. Prepares patient, prepares and administers prescribed dose of radioactive pharmaceuticals and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, performs calculations and manipulates data according to established parameters. Ensures proper preparation and/or ordering of radioactive material, calibrates equipment, assures appropriate quality control, monitors patients and performs other duties as assigned.
Candidate will spend an apportioned amount of their FTE rotating from one or more of the Portland Service Area (PSA) hospitals. The PSA hospitals include:
Providence St. Vincent Medical Center (PSTV), Providence Portland Medical Center (PPMC), and Providence Milwaukie Hospital (PMH), Providence Willamette Falls (PWFMC), and Providence Newberg (PNMC).

Rotate through Portland Service Area (PSA) hospitals including Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, Providence Portland Medical Center, Providence Milwaukie Hospital, Providence Willamette Falls, and Providence Newberg as part of the allocated FTE.
QualificationsRequired qualifications:
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association - Within 6 months (180 days) of hire:
National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Or - Within 6 months (180 days) of hire:
National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of Clinical experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
