Position Title:
Clinical Pharmacy Program Supervisor
Starting Wage: $73.98-$101.73 per hour, depending on experience

The Clinical Pharmacy Program Supervisor is responsible for the management of clinical and distributive personnel and their related operations. In cooperation with the Pharmacy Manager, responsibilities include development and monitoring of clinical and distributive procedures and job descriptions, quality assurance, scheduling maintenance, and coordinating orientation and training of new personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Directly responsible, under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, for the management of Pharmacists, including hiring and evaluating staff, providing clear expectations, effective coaching, counseling, mentoring, recognition and staff development to provide exceptional customer service to all hospital departments and external customers.
- Responsible for training Pharmacists, including the orientation of new employees and ongoing staff development to ensure safe patient care.
- Manage own professional practice: problem solving/critical thinking.
- 3 years progressively more responsible experience as a practicing inpatient pharmacist.
- Doctorate degree in Pharmacy, required
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy in lieu of Doctorate for those eligible to be RPh with bachelors by Oregon Board of Pharmacy, required
- RPh:
Registered Pharmacist by Oregon Board of Pharmacy, required - BLS:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of start, required
