Medical Assistant Advanced (Full-Time)

Full‑time, hourly. Wage: $22.79–$31.92 per hour, depending on experience and certification.

• Demonstrate competency in all areas of administrative and clinical duties.
• Update patient medical records accurately using electronic health records.
• Process prescription refills as directed.
• Support patients in scheduling and follow‑up of medical appointments.
• Provide telephone support and route calls appropriately.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Administer treatments such as vaccines, EKGs, and laboratory testing as ordered.
• Provide patient education as instructed by providers.
• Maintain patient and employee information confidentially following HIPAA policies.

Required:

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certified by the National Association of Medical Assistants (or equivalent).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
• Proficiency in basic computer software applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or one to two years of clinical experience in a medical office.
• Experience with electronic health records (EPIC preferred).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
