This is an on-call role for a job opportunity in Oregon. The On-Call Archaeologist will conduct fieldwork, including survey and shovel-test pit excavation. Qualifications- Proficiency in Field Work and Excavation practices
- Comprehensive understanding of Archaeology principles
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, including NEPA and related requirements
- Strong analytical, organizational, and record-keeping skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field
- Ability to work in varying field conditions with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Experience in Oregon archaeology is preferred but not required
