Join our team as a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician and make a meaningful impact on patients' quality of life during their most vulnerable moments. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate medical professional to provide exceptional end-of-life care through a flexible mix of onsite and telehealth services.

Required Skills:
  • Valid active Ohio Medical License and DEA registration
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Hospice Medicine
  • Extensive hospice care experience, especially for FM or IM physicians
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle complex cases with empathy and professionalism
  • Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic medical records systems
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience working in a hybrid onsite and telehealth setting
  • Familiarity with multi-site healthcare operations between Portland and Medford
  • Bilingual capabilities to better serve diverse patient populations
  • Comfort with night call duties and weekend shifts
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Hospice & Palliative Medicine
  • Minimum of 2 years of hospice care experience, preferably in a multidisciplinary team environment
Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work onsite as needed, with flexibility for telehealth arrangements
  • Availability for call duties 4-6 nights per month and approximately 1 weekend per month
  • Capable of managing a caseload including symptom management, crisis visits, and inpatient consultations
Starting January 16, 2026, this full-time opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $1.00, with guaranteed hours of 8 per day, and overtime applies after 9 hours. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), a robust referral bonus program, weekly pay via direct deposit, licensure and certification reimbursements, paid sick leave, and travel or other stipends where applicable.
