Role
:
The Digital Production Specialist I supports Rogue Credit Union's Marketing Team by assisting the Senior Digital Production Specialist in the creation, setup, and delivery of photo, video, audio, and digital media content. This hands-on role is ideal for a creatively curious individual eager to develop skills in video production, equipment operation, and post-production workflows. Responsibilities include helping with studio and field shoots, managing digital assets, and supporting live events, all while gaining direct experience and on-the-job training in a professional marketing environment.
Responsibilities- 25% Provide hands-on support for the setup, operation, and breakdown of video, audio, and photography equipment for live productions, studio shoots, and field work, including preparing production spaces through lighting setup, green screen configuration, camera positioning, audio checks, and equipment staging.
- 20% Assists the Senior Digital Production Specialist with maintaining, troubleshooting, and resolving digital signage issues in branches and on location, including but not limited to diagnosing player, TV, and network-related issues.
- 20% Support the maintenance and organization of production equipment, studio spaces, digital sign players, TVs, and AV peripherals by assisting with equipment inventory and basic repairs. Supports the preparation, organization, and management of digital assets including video footage, photography, and audio files by assisting with file transfers, backups, transcription, and archiving.
- 10% Support digital signage and EMC content management, including updating templates, batching scheduling for digital signs, and coordinating local and cloud EMC updates.
- 10% Assist with basic video and audio editing tasks, including trimming footage, syncing audio, and preparing files for review.
- 10% Assists with photography for community events and acts as a camera operator for social media and internal video shoots
- 5% Proactively performs other duties as needed or assigned.
- Experience
:
Two to three years of similar or related experience. - Education
: (1) A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprentice program. - Interpersonal Skills
:
Demonstrates the ability to take direction and collaborate closely with the Senior Digital Production Specialist, communicates professionally and respectfully with internal staff, vendors, and community partners, and is comfortable working in branches, studio environments, and at community events. - Other Skills
:
Demonstrates basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, and possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management in a flexible, project-based environment. - Physical Requirements
:
Some lifting required (up to 100 pounds), continuous sitting and standing and occasional walking and running. Finger dexterity while using computer. Continuous talking and hearing in person and on the telephone. Continuous clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and continuous clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Ability to perform on camera. Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. - Work Environment
:
Normal workday with occasional overtime. Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, i.e., robbery. This position requires attendance of events in the evenings and on weekends. As a direct representative of the Credit Union, the employee must conduct and present themselves courteously and professionally. Travel to all Credit Union regions may be required.
