Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 support for Windows and Linux desktops and laptops, resolving hardware and software issues
- Troubleshoot issues related to workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices
- Deploy, configure, and maintain desktops and laptops using standardized system images
- Perform operating system installations, re-installations, upgrades, and patch management
- Install and configure software applications to support business and technical teams
- Support daily IT operations, including desktop support, basic networking issues, and limited server-related tasks
- Assist with hardware and software procurement, including vendor coordination and recommendations
- Manage IT asset inventory, tracking, and device lifecycle processes
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and performance
- Monitor and resolve IT service requests and incidents within defined SLAs
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux systems as needed
- Solid experience providing support across both Windows and Linux environments
- Experienced troubleshooting desktop and laptop hardware issues
- Experience managing operating system imaging, patching, and endpoint management solutions
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medford, NY.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
