Security Assistant - Per Diem

Brief Description

Join Our Team and Make a Difference Every Day! The Security Assistant
- Per Diem role ensures the safety of Medford Leas facilities and grounds during evening and overnight hours.

• Monitor security and emergency systems
• Respond promptly to emergency situations
• Address minor maintenance issues
• Conduct surveillance using security cameras
• Secure building entrances and exits, and patrol Medford Leas grounds
• Respond to incoming calls, including emergencies, conduct fire drills, and document all actions taken

$17.23/hr - $19.81/hr, dependent on experience

Flexible; including weekends and holidays

• Mon-Fri: 4-10pm (varies)
• Sat-Sun: 10:30pm - 9am (varies)

• Annual Flu Vaccine Required
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• 2-3 years security related experience or equivalent organizational experience that would provide the necessary background.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the necessary skills.
• Must be computer literate and have electronic security and/or systems knowledge.
• Must have the ability to think and respond quickly to emergency situations.
