100% Onsite in Medford, MA

Position is PRN (as needed) requiring availability 3‑6 hours per week Monday – Friday between 9:00 – 3:30. You will receive your schedule in advance and it is based on RN availability. This role works with Adult/Adolescent Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) populations.

The Registered Nurse will play a crucial role in delivering high‑quality patient care within our partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. This position requires a strong commitment to mental health advocacy, patient education, and clinical excellence.

• Assess and monitor patients’ physical and mental health status, including vital signs, medication management, and symptomatology upon admission and as needed for ongoing client medical needs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients’ needs and treatment goals.
• Oversee medication self‑administration process during program and ensure all medications brought to the clinic by caregiver/guardian for adolescent clients are logged in and out daily per policy.
• Provide patient education on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self‑care strategies to promote wellness and recovery.
• Conduct therapeutic groups and individual counseling sessions to support patients in developing coping skills and fostering resilience.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, case conferences, and clinical supervision sessions to discuss patient progress and coordinate care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice, including maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting autonomy.
• Collaborate with community resources and external healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and facilitate transitions between levels of care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills related to mental health nursing practice.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a valid registered nurse (RN) license.
• Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of evidence‑based practices in mental health treatment and familiarity with psychiatric medications.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Clinical experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing (PMH‑RN).

$42.80 – $64.90 USD per hour
