Position Specific Details
L&D RN
NO LOCAL CANDIDATES (no candidates within 50-mile radius)
EKG Exam NOT required
At least one year L&D experience required, travel experience preferred
MUST be able to circulate for deliveries (do not need to scrub!)
Fetal monitoring experience required (certification isn't necessary)
BLS & NRP required
36-Hr GTE, 12-Hr Nights 7p-7a, NO CALL, every other weekend/major holiday required

Unit Specific Details
Beds: 10 LDR, 2 triage, 2 OR
Equipment: warmer, GE monitor, pulse ox, blood glucose
Skill Sets: fetal monitoring or cardiac monitoring
Patient Population:
High acuity; language barriers, substance abuse, chronic conditions affecting pregnancy
3 RNs and 1 tech for most shifts
Occasional float to Mother/Baby possible

Ratio*: 1:1-2
