- Companionship:
Engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support to seniors. - Assistance with Daily
Activities:
Help with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance. - Medication Management:
Assist clients with medication reminders and ensure they adhere to prescribed medication schedules. - Meal Preparation:
Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary requirements and preferences. - Light Housekeeping:
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for the senior. - Transportation:
Assist with transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other essential outings. - Monitoring Health:
Observe and report any changes in the senior s health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals or family members. - Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided and any significant changes in the client's condition.
- 1 year of CNA/NA/PCA experience preferred
- Willing to accept new PCAs/CNAs and provide in-home care training.
- A valid driver s license, reliable transportation required - may need to drive clients in own vehicle. Will be reimbursed for mileage with a clean MVR (motor vehicle record) and an insured vehicle.
- Must be willing to work in homes with pets. Cats and/or dogs
- Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally. Must respond to calls/messages in a timely manner
- Willingness to work some weekends or evenings
- Must follow agency communication procedures
- Must be able to assist with standing, walking, transfers, bending, and light lifting (35lbs or less)
- Must be able to perform personal care, household tasks (light household cleaning, meal prep, mobility assistance, transportation using client or personal vehicle)
- This role requires reliability, accountability, and the ability to show up consistently for clients who depend on care.
- Starting pay rate of $17
