Required Procedure/Duties:

• Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry
• Esophageal Manometry Interpretation
• Small Bowel Biopsy
• Lower GI Endoscopy
• Sigmoidoscopy
• Colonoscopy
• Liver Biopsy
• Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube
• Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
• Upper GI Endoscopy: with Biopsy, with Foreign Body Removal, with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser), with Injection of Varices, with Banding of Varices, with ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), Diagnostic, Therapeutic, with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
• On average 8 procedures per week: GSI, Hepatology, RGA, Surgery, Colon, Egd, ERCP

Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days

• Board Certified - REQUIRED

• VA license - REQUIRED

  HIGHLY PREFERRED

• Must be available to cover open shift to be considered - REQUIRED

• Clean malpractice history required for temp privs - REQUIRED

• ERCP - REQUIRED

• EUS -
  Preferred

• A Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation. The Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date.
