Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, clean and inspect, and store materials, tools, and equipment used for demolition, abatement, and environmental services
- Prepare and stage materials and equipment for field crews according to daily job requirements
- Load and secure materials, tools, and supplies onto company vehicles for transport to job sites
- Drive company vehicles as needed and maintain the ability to obtain and retain a valid DOT physical
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with tracking equipment and material usage
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification as required)
- Perform general warehouse & vehicle housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and disposal preparation of materials in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of tools and equipment, report damage, defects, or safety concerns
- Follow all Retro Environmental safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental compliance standards
- Assist warehouse supervisors with special projects, inventory counts, and facility organization
- Support loading and unloading of hazardous or regulated materials under proper supervision and training
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, drivers, and field personnel to ensure timely job execution
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Previous warehouse, construction, demolition, or environmental industry experience preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT physical
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive company vehicles as needed
- Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred (certification a plus)
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory handling, equipment staging, and compliance
- Strong attention to safety, with the ability to follow OSHA and company safety procedures
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or overtime as required
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings as required by company policy
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 80 lbs. regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in a warehouse environment for extended periods
- Comfortable working in industrial settings with exposure to dust, noise, and heavy equipment
