Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. The ADON will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee clinical operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, implementing policies and procedures, conducting staff training, and assisting with quality improvement initiatives.

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing in the overall management of clinical services
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Coordinate and conduct staff training and development programs
• Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive resident care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory surveys
• Provide leadership and support to nursing staff to promote a positive work environment

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Qualifications:

• Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a long-term care setting
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric nursing principles
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in computer documentation and electronic health record systems
