Operations Manager
Overview
The PSG Production Manager provides strategic direction, leadership, and development to the Material Prep and Art Room areas within the Professional Services Group. This role is responsible for achieving productivity, efficiency, customer service, quality, and safety objectives through a "roll-up your sleeves" approach in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

THIS IS AN INTERNAL HIRE POSITION
- Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team ranging from 80 to over 200 employees during peak times. - Operational Oversight:
Monitor and drive shift performance against goals for productivity, quality, service, and equipment utilization. - Performance Management:
Hold employees accountable for productivity and quality standards while providing daily constructive feedback. - Resource Planning:
Monitor daily and weekly shift staffing levels against production requirements to meet efficiency goals. - Training & Development:
Ensure new employees are properly trained and cross-trained to meet production needs. - Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement, applying problem-solving methods to find root causes and implement solutions. - Safety & Compliance:
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating staff on the proper use of resources and ensuring organizational policies are followed. - Collaboration:
Participate in crossover meetings to ensure smooth transitions across shifts and maintain professional relations with peers.
- Minimum of 3 years in production management within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent manufacturing/production management experience.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- SAP experience is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be proficient in English.
