Shifts
There are two shifts available for this role. Schedule details are as follows:
- 1st Shift
- Off-Peak: 8:00 a.m.
- 4:00 p.m. - Peak: 7:00 a.m.
- 7:00 p.m. - 2nd Shift
- Off-Peak: 4:00 p.m.
- 12:00 a.m. - Peak: 7:00 p.m.
- 7:00 a.m.
During the 12-hour peak shifts, team members follow a rotating schedule that includes working four shifts one week and three shifts the following week. This schedule allows for two long weekends off per month.
Job PurposeThe Heat Press Trainer, Level I will work within our Professional Services Group, which has the mission of providing innovative customization solutions for our customers. This position will provide coaching and development to individuals working within Heat Press. The right candidate will be an eager individual that displays leadership and has the track record of accomplishing tasks efficiently and on time.
This role begins as a 90-day seasonal position, with the potential to move into a full-time role based on performance.
We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a strong focus on customer service and a desire to work for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a "roll-up your sleeves" approach.
Responsibilities Major Accountabilities / Essential Duties- Distribute work and ongoing training to Heat Press Operators and QC.
- Keep Management & Technicians aware of any problems that may affect Quality or Productivity.
- Clear and precise shift change with the oncoming or outgoing coach.
- Assist with all duties asked of the Supervisor or Manager within the Heat Press Department, including performing all duties expected of a Heat Press Operator & QC.
- Be a resource for questions and guidance to all Heat Press staff; responsible for keeping the work area safe and clean daily.
- Work with the Lead and Supervisor to deliver performance-focused and servant-leader coaching to operators.
- Coordinate with the Trainer to support new team members during their transition to production.
- Provide supplemental and on-the-job training as needed.
- Provide feedback to team members to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality.
- Assist team members in solving problems.
- Motivate team members to achieve production and quality goals regarding P.U.M.P.
- Report quality issues to lead, supervisor, or manager when necessary.
- Actively maintain, apply and expand knowledge as changes occur; remain current with policy and procedures as they relate to Quality standards.
- Uphold and exemplify Training and Quality standards involving appearance, attendance, behavior, and attitude when dealing with fellow employees and leadership.
- Be present and prompt for all shifts.
- Adhere to company policy.
- Responsible for keeping the work area safe and clean daily.
- Professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills.
- Initiative, adaptability, and patience with repetition are a must within the role.
- Ability to work with various learning abilities and be respectful of differences in styles of learning.
- Ability to operate and understand functioning equipment according to established processes.
- Ability to organize, plan and problem solve.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to help others learn and succeed.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Track record of knowledge and adherence to all company and CFC policies.
- Possess high attention to detail and demonstrate a high quality of work.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and direct work to others with minimal supervision from the Department Supervisor.
- Prior heat press experience is a must and prior lead experience is preferred.
- Must have a proven track record of punctuality with minimal absenteeism.
- Candidate should be production oriented.
- Must be proficient in English.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
