This role is located in Mebane, North Carolina and reports to the Quality Leader.
Key Responsibilities- Performing physical pre‑testing activities for newly developed products to ensure product quality and validating manufacturing processes.
- Assisting the team in performing all required checks as part of the Factory Acceptance Testing process.
- Inspecting and troubleshooting any identified issues, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate testing records, data, and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality management systems.
- Associate Degree in a technical or engineering discipline from an accredited university or college (electronic or electrical systems focus, or 2 years experience with electrical/electronics testing).
- Experience using computers;
Microsoft Office apps like Excel, Word and web applications. - Desired experience in ERPs and quality management systems.
- Ability and willingness to read and interpret technical drawings and models.
- Skill in using hand tools and measurement equipment.
- Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Initiative, teamwork, flexibility & attention to detail.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
