This position reports to: EL Sales Support Manager - Commercial Operations

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Proposals Team in the bid process and the technical aspects of applications in all markets where Low Voltage Switchgear ("LV SWG") are required. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide support in early stages of project sales cycles, resolve contractual issues, and support negotiations through which those LV SWG are sold. This role will accept remote candidates located in the US, with a preference for those located near priority locations, including North Carolina and Florida.

• Formulate competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation.
• Ensure tenders are well documented in a timely manner with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.
• Lead and manage the planning and preparation of technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
• Ensure the status of the bids, estimates, and quotations are reported regularly using defined tools and collect and analyze reasons for both lost and won tenders.
• Identify potential risks in the bids, quotations, estimates, and related contract agreements across customers/channels and take appropriate action.

You will join a dynamic and multicultural team, where you will be able to thrive. The position will manage around 10+ folks across the United States and Mexico.

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent is required. Masters Degree is preferred.
• You are immersed in and highly skilled with working within a Proposals Organization supporting a Global Market.
• 10+ years of experience in Proposals, Quotations, or related roles.
• Direct Industry or similar industry experience is strongly preferred. Prior experience in Low Voltage Switchgears is highly sought after for this role.
• Change Management Skills.
• Bi‑lingual in English and Spanish is nice to have to best relate to the global team reporting to the position.
• Candidates must already be authorized to work in the US for ABB.
