Controls Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to support the development of control functions and parameters for eDrive and AWD systems. This role is perfect for someone passionate about engineering innovation, data‑driven decision‑making, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Design and validate engineering solutions through feasibility testing and implementation.
- Draft and evaluate engineering standards and specifications.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and support solution development.
- Design test procedures based on product specifications.
- Participate in ongoing training and capability development.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
- Manage requirements traceability and verification throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 3 uila? 5 years of relevant experience in engineering systems or controls.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance. Familiarity with engineering development tools, testing protocols, and specification writing.
- Queries? excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with PLC programming and automation.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, robotics, and controls engineering.
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
- Experience with electrical engineering and HMI systems.
The work environment involves spending over 50% of time on the floor, engaging in hands‑on activities.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Mebane, NC.
Pay & BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $95000.00 – $115000.00/yr.
