DL Class A Truck Driver 1st shift

Go McPherson – Delivery Department – Full Time, 1st Shift – 6:30am start.

Compensation: $23-$26/hr DOE (not OTR).

Direct hire position. Responsibilities include supervising and operating transportation equipment and providing safe and timely delivery of goods.

• Drive and operate commercial vehicles over 26,001 lbs. to deliver or pick up merchandise, materials, and equipment.
• Load and unload vehicles and perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Record inspection information on DVIR.
• Use electronic logging device (ELD) to log daily activities.
• Follow safety procedures for transporting goods, including securement of cargo.
• Safely maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.

• 0-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of commercial driving experience with relevant cargo preferred.
• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL per assigned vehicle type required.
• Successful completion of a road test required.
• Ability to meet company insurability standards required.
• Ability to meet FMCSA drug and alcohol clearinghouse requirements.
• Ability to meet all driver qualification requirements per Federal regulations (49 CFR Part 391) required.
• Ability to meet current Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) quality criteria as defined by Federal regulations.
• No drug violations during the previous 5 years and proof of completion of a certified SAP program for violations over 5 years old required.
