Job SummaryAre you a motivated and results-driven engineering professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic industry? We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join the Bouldin and Lawson, L.L.C. Team.
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and improvement of industrial machinery and automated systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, sales, and service to deliver high-quality equipment solutions tailored to customer needs.
Key Responsibilities- Design mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using Solid Works software
- Develop detailed drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
- Perform engineering calculations including stress analysis, load calculations, and material selection
- Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting
- Work closely with manufacturing to ensure designs are production-ready
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance
- Provide technical support to sales and service teams as needed
- Ensure designs comply with safety and regulatory standards
- Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Works)
- Pre-Employment Drug Screen
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fabrication, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and create detailed engineering drawings including 3D part models, sub-assemblies, and top-level assemblies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and drive systems
Preferred- Experience with automation systems, conveyors, or material handling equipment
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and drive system
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Familiarity with ERP systems and BOM management
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical design (industrial machinery preferred)
