Hillside in McMinnville, OR, a Human Good community nationally rated as Best Senior Living community for Independent Living and Memory Care by U.S News & World Report, is looking for a talented and passionate part time Maintenance Technician Helper to join our team!
Under direct supervision, Maintenance Technician Helper performs unskilled maintenance work in the daily and preventive care, repair, and maintenance of building systems and equipment; performs plumbing, electrical, roofing, flooring, masonry, painting, mechanical, and carpentry work.
Part Time position, 20 hours per week. Days & Times flexible.
Pay range: $17+ per hour, depending on experience
Job Duties- Perform assigned maintenance duties and routine preventive maintenance.
- Maintain all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
- Assist with refurbishment projects and repairs.
- Install, finish, repair, paint, remove and dispose of drywall or other material.
- Perform electrical work such as repairing and replacing switches, receptacles, lights, and motors.
- Perform minor plumbing repairs and installations.
- Respond to work orders in a timely manner and perform follow up calls as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Up to one year of experience in a related field of building maintenance or construction, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
- Attendance at a technical training institute or program preferred.
- Medical benefits start the 1st of the month following your start date.

This position is based onsite at our Hillside Community in McMinnville, Oregon.
