About UsHomeward Bound Pets Humane Society (HBPets) was founded in 1975 with the goal of providing a safe haven for homeless pets awaiting adoption in Yamhill County. Today, HBPets is more than just an animal shelter; we also operate a thrift shop and low-cost spay/neuter clinic that has performed over 25,000 surgeries since opening in 2017.
As HBPets prepares to open our new 9,400 sq. ft. shelter facility, we are expanding our team to support the growth of our programs, including expanded animal care, adoptions, and community outreach services. This growth represents an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of HBPets and strengthen our ability to serve pets and people throughout Yamhill County.
