Responsibilitiesand Duties
- Oversee electronic lab orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness for all patients.
- Administer and record injections.
- Assist with IV administration and documentation.
- Conduct lab and therapeutic phlebotomy draws.
- Cross-train to cover various clinic areas, including medical assistance and front desk duties as required.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the provider or manager.
- Utilize problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to address patient complaints.
- Attend scheduled departmental staff and clinical meetings.
- Ensure full compliance with One Peak Medical's Employee Handbook and the Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist Binder in carrying out all duties and services.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support One Peak Medical.

- Note that this position may require driving a personal vehicle on behalf of the company; therefore, the employee must pass a motor vehicle history check, possess a current, valid driver's license, and ensure their vehicle complies with state laws, including proper registration and insurance coverage.
- High school diploma or equivalent - Required
- Minimum of 6 months recent phlebotomy experience - Required
- Current BLS and/or CPR/AED Certification - Required
- IV Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire date - Required
- Associate college degree in a medical field - Strongly preferred
- Voluntary Life/LTD/Accident/Critical Illness plans
