• Education:
  
  Associate's degree and/or Baccalaureate degree.
• License:
  Current Radiation Operator in the state of Oregon and registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiology.
• Certification: BLS.

• Reviews patient history and physicians' orders.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient condition continuously and reports/responds to status changes as appropriate.
• Prepares equipment and supplies, selects exposure factors, implements safety standards, performs quality control, and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions.
• Positions patients and performs imaging procedures.
• Analyzes results and identifies quality issues; takes appropriate action to resolve them, including repositioning and repeat procedures.
• Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.
