Responsibilities- Work with the operations department to order, receive, and prepare products in preparation for scheduled jobs.
- Receive goods or prepare goods for shipment.
- Advocate for the client and the company through just-in-time ordering and receiving of goods from distributors and manufacturers.
- Complete documentation and receiving of work.
- Manage ordering, receiving, staging, and handling of returned and defective goods and all associated computer transactions.
You must have at least a GED or a high school diploma to be considered. Being a quick, consistent learner is a must for this position.
Skills and Qualifications- Foundational knowledge of the stockroom and supply chain.
- Project Management is a plus; basic understanding of how construction timing works is helpful.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as you progress in the role.
The average annual compensation in Oregon and SW Washington is $41,600. The range is $18 to $24 per hour, depending on experience and certifications. With experience and leadership development, roles may progress to Operations Management, Customer Service, Operations Tech Support, or Accounting Assistant.
